KASARANI–At least two supporters have been confirmed dead. About 20 have been rushed to St.Francis Kasarani hospital following some fracas between the police and supporters.

The clashes began when supporters were denied access to the stadium.

Police were forced to disperse the rowdy youth who had blocked the main entrance to the stadium.

The group has been locked out of the stadium as police embark on use of tear gas and water cannons.

Several gates of the facility have been damaged as the youth battle with the police.

Security has been heightened along Thika Road and the stadium to ensure everything goes as planned.

Mombasa Road, Uhuru Highway, Museum Hill all the way to Junction of Limuru and Prof Wangari Maathai Road and Thika Super Highway up to Kasarani stadium have been designated as red zones during the inauguration.
