NASA Chief Executive Officer, Norman Magaya has written to Nairobi police boss, Japheth Koome, informing him that next week Tuesday on 28th Nov 2017 the movement will hold a public prayer meeting at Uhuru Park.

According to Magaya those who are set to attend the event are; the coalition principalsHon. Raila Odinga, Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka, Hon M Wetangula, Hon Mudavadi, Tanzania President John Magufuli and other retired Presidents & Prime Ministers across the world.

“We are expecting President Magufuli in the country on Tuesday, worlds retired Presidents and Prime Ministers who support freedom of democracy. Several Dignitaries, Judges of High Court, Bishops of all Churches and leaders of Muslims, and all NASA elected leaders will be attending,” said Magaya

“We expect millions of Kenyans…” he added.

The Opposition has placed an obituary containing the names of 27 supporters who they say either died from police bullets or were hacked to death in violence that followed Raila’s return from the United States, and Monday’s Supreme Court ruling that upheld Uhuru’s victory.

On Saturday, the NASA coalition moves to Machakos where they plan to hold an inaugural mini people’s assembly, a platform they intend to use to pile pressure on President Kenyatta’s administration, which they have vowed never to recognise.

Raila’s trip to Zanzibar came after he recently jetted back from a 10-day trip to the US, with claims he met some heads of state from the region and a vice president from the southern African region.

Sources indicate that East Africa heads of state are backing the former prime minister.
