Surveys Are Paid Stuffs, Filipinos Shouldn’t Trust Them~Joko Widodo

Indonesia President Joko Widodo has criticized recent findings that claimed that President Duterte’s popularity had gone down.

Speaking on Tuesday evening, Widodo said that survey bodies have become ‘useless and shouldn’t be trusted by any serious person.”

He however added that President Duterte is incomparable and his enemies should not think of matching the Philippines leader.

“I was shocked to see some politicians spreading the sponsored survey by the Social Weather Stations survey that purported Duterte’s popularity had dropped, i want to tell them even my people here in Indonesia believe Duterte is the real change Filipinos have been looking for. His enemies can sponsor as many surveys as possible but Duterte will remain unshakable.” He said.

According to Social Weather Stations survey Duterte’s popularity dropped to 67 per cent from 78 per cent in June who said they were “satisfied” with Duterte’s performance as president – came amid growing public outrage over drug war killings in the Philippines.

Duterte assumed office in June last year vowing to eradicate illegal drugs in society by killing up to 100,000 traffickers and addicts.
